Rent-to-Own
Rent-to-Own a Tesla Cybertruck: How It Works
You can Rent-to-Own a Tesla Cybertruck with no credit check, free delivery in the continental U.S., maintenance included, and the title in your name after 48 months.

Yes β you can Rent-to-Own a Tesla Cybertruck through TeslaRented with no credit check. You make a first payment upfront, then biweekly payments for 48 months, and the title transfers into your name after the term is complete. Free delivery to any address in the continental U.S. is part of the Rent-to-Own program. If four years is more commitment than you want, the same truck is available month-to-month at a flat monthly rate with no ownership commitment.
The Cybertruck is the most expensive vehicle in the fleet, so its first payment and biweekly payment are the highest of the five models. It's also the one that most deserves a reality check before you order: it's a full-size truck with unusual dimensions, and it doesn't fit every garage, every parking structure or every job.
Can you Rent-to-Own a Cybertruck with no credit check?
Yes. There's no credit check, no income verification and no application scoring on either program. The requirement is that you're a licensed driver in the U.S. and you can insure the truck. Rent-to-Own payments aren't reported to the credit bureaus as debt, which cuts both ways β they won't build your credit score, and they won't sit on your report as another obligation while you're working toward a mortgage or anything else.
That's the honest pitch, and it isn't about price. A bank loan or a lease on the same truck is a different product with different math, and we're not going to tell you this one is cheaper. What's different here is that it's open to drivers a lender would decline, maintenance, brakes and tires are included, you get a backup car while yours is being serviced, and you can hand the truck back at any point with no termination fee.
What does a Cybertruck Rent-to-Own cost?
The structure is the same as every other model: a first payment upfront, then a fixed biweekly payment for 48 months. The Cybertruck sits at the top of the fleet on both numbers, and the biweekly amount also moves with the mileage plan you choose.
Exact figures change with the live fleet β availability, trim and year all affect them β so they live on the Rent-to-Own calculator and the available Teslas page rather than in an article. Run your model and mileage plan through the calculator and you'll see the current biweekly number before you talk to anyone.
Things worth understanding before you look at pricing:
- Mileage plans run from 1,000 to 6,000 miles a month, in 1,000-mile steps. Each step up raises the biweekly payment. Mileage is never unlimited on a standard plan.
- There's an optional Driver Plan aimed at high-mileage drivers that prices the higher mileage steps differently. Call or text (818) 458-8729 if you want it explained against your actual weekly driving.
- Cybertruck inventory is thinner than Model 3 or Model Y. Fewer years and trims are listed at any given time, and more can be sourced on request.

| Term | Biweekly payments for 48 months | Month by month, no commitment |
| Ownership | Title in your name after the term | None |

If you want to end up owning the truck, Rent-to-Own is the only path of the two that finishes with a title. If you want a Cybertruck for a season of work, a contract, or just to find out whether you actually like living with it, month-to-month costs you nothing to walk away from.
A lot of people use month-to-month as a trial. There's no rule that says a few months in the truck has to lead anywhere β but if it convinces you, the Rent-to-Own program is there.
Is a Cybertruck practical as a daily driver?
It depends almost entirely on where you park and what you haul.
Size and parking
This is a wide, long, heavy full-size truck. Measure your garage β including the door opening, not just the depth β before you order. Tight ramps and narrow stalls in older urban parking structures are worth checking in person before you order, because the truck's width and length leave less room for error than a sedan or crossover. If you live somewhere with street parking only and compact spaces, a Model Y is the easier truck-adjacent answer.
Charging
Day to day, it charges like any other Tesla: plug in at home overnight if you can, use Superchargers on the road. A big-battery truck takes longer to fill from a standard home outlet than a Model 3 does, so a 240V circuit is a meaningful quality-of-life upgrade if you have the option. Towing cuts range substantially β expect a loaded trailer to roughly halve what you'd get unloaded, which changes how you plan a long haul. Supercharging is billed to the card on file and is your cost.
Work use
The bed, the outlets and the payload capacity are what people buy this truck for, and for light contracting, equipment hauling and weekend towing it does the job. What you shouldn't do is assume on the details. Before you order, call or text (818) 458-8729 if you plan to tow, mount a rack, install accessories, or use the truck commercially β ask rather than guess.
Can you drive a Cybertruck for Uber or Lyft?
Uber and Lyft decide which vehicles they accept, and the rules vary by city and service tier. Don't assume a Cybertruck qualifies β check it directly with the platform for your market before you commit to anything. If rideshare is your main reason for wanting a Tesla, the Model 3 and Model Y are the cars drivers overwhelmingly use, and our rideshare page covers how the mileage plans work for full-time driving.
What's included and what's on you?
Included on both programs:
- Maintenance, brakes and tires
- A backup car while yours is being serviced
- Repair or replacement within two business days if the truck isn't in working order, with no charge for the downtime
- A mileage plan, starting at 1,000 miles a month
- Free delivery anywhere in the continental U.S. on Rent-to-Own
On you:
- Insurance. You carry your own full-coverage policy with EK Rentals, Inc. listed as interested party / additional insured. Check what a Cybertruck quotes at before you commit β insurance costs vary by driver, vehicle, carrier and state, so get a quote on the Cybertruck specifically. If you can't add it to your own policy, we'll help with coverage options. Additional drivers have to be on the policy and approved in writing.
- Charging, including Supercharging billed automatically to the card on file.
- Tickets and tolls.
How do you get started?
- Check the Cybertruck page and available Teslas to see what's listed right now.
- Pick a mileage plan between 1,000 and 6,000 miles a month and run it through the calculator.
- Get an insurance quote on the Cybertruck specifically before you go further.
- Put down the small refundable reservation deposit, which is credited toward your first payment.
- Pay the rest of the first payment all at once, or in portions whenever you can. No specific truck is held while you're paying in portions β you're matched with an available Cybertruck when the first payment is complete. The biweekly schedule is the same either way.
- Once the first payment is complete, the Rent-to-Own agreement is signed, the truck ships to your address, and biweekly payments begin.
- After 48 months and a cleared final payment, the title transfers to you within 14 business days.
Miss a payment and there's a five-day grace period; continued non-payment means the truck is returned and the agreement ends. Change your mind at any point and you return the truck with no termination fee β payments already made don't carry over.
